If massages seem out of your budget, look into your local massage therapy schools. San Antonio's Academy for Massage Therapy: Since 1996, offering high-quality massage education as well as affordable, effective massage therapy through their student clinic. Their expanded services include spa body treatments and other hydrotherapy treatments given by students at greatly discounted prices.
 


Yogic Recipes:

Goblin Granola
Ingredients:
6 cups oats, rolled (raw)
1cup almond slivers
3/4 cup sesame seeds
1 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup molasses
2 teaspoons canola oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup coconut
3/4 cup cranberries - dried.

Preheat oven to 300º. Mix dry ingredients together and set aside. In a small saucepan over medium heat warm the honey, molasses, oil, and vanilla. Add to the dry mixture and spread evenly on an oiled cookie sheet. Bake for 40 - 50 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes or so until evenly and lightly browned.

Fresh Apple Gingerbread

A moist and deeply satisfying Gingerbread with a light Lemon Sauce.

1/2 cup butter -- softened
2 large eggs
2/3 cup molasses
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 tablespoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground clove
1/3 cup milk or soya milk
1 1/4 cups grated apple

Cream butter, eggs and molasses well. Combine the dry ingredients and add alternately with the milk to the butter mixture. Stir in the grated apple. Pour into a lightly sprayed 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350 for 35 - 40 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in the pan and then remove and cool on a wire rack. Serve with whip cream, whipped tofu or Lemon Sauce
