My name is Monica Paredes and I am an Austin-based photographer, specializing in organic and compelling portraits. Like many children of mama photographers, my son inspires my creativity. Initially working in the corporate world of marketing and design, I immersed herself in creative ways of communicating ideas. For almost two decades I have worked with designers and photographers for numerous publications and various corporate events. My work experience and continuous training at the International Center of Photography and specialized workshops inform and unfold my intuitive style. I approach each subject with reverence and patience required to capture a genuine moment. Then, in vibrant, crisp colors I present my subjects as works of art. I strive to create an enduring connection between the beholder and my photographs. Currently, my calendar is full for 2010, but I welcome inquiries for special projects and bookings for 2011. |
